Nerd Club Intro to Ceramics @ Firing Station Studio

This Novemner our Nerd Club is back, the perfect way to learn the basics of hand-builidng ceramics.
We’ve made some tweaks to the original course to utilise making time and to give you more in order find our preferred technique. Each week will be deadicate dto one making style or decorating technique. You will come away with at least three finish pieces from the full five weeks.
Week 1 - Slab Building a Vessel (Choice of Planter, Vase or Jug)
Week 2 - Slumping (Plate, Platter or Bowl)
Week 3 - Coiling (Mug or Caddy)
Week 4 - Decorating and wax resist (Learn to Use Wax and Underglaze to Mask and Paint Your Piece)
Week 5 - Glazing Week (Dip and Brush-on Glaze Layering Techniques)
Each session runs on a Wednesday 7.30-9pm. Individually the classes are £37 or you can book the full block for £175.
The sessions will be held at our studio in Park Hall Business Centre (SE21 8EN). We will be here to support you through each session, making your ideas come to life. These sessions are for all ranges of ability and a good opportunity to pick our brains.
