Halloween Caricature Platter Workshop
7.00~9pm, Friday 24th October
Seamus is back in the Firing Station Studio to collaborate with us on another gorgeous caricature workshop, this time with a sprinkle of spooky season.
Inspired by the amount of kitsch decorative plates and royal memorabilia cluttering the houses of people up and down the country, Seamus Jennings is here to update the humble decorative plate in a fun new style of workshop.
In this workshop, you will learn from a published cartoonist (The Guardian, The Times, The Independent, and more) the art of drawing a caricature cartoon with Halloween influence. You will then make your own ceramic platter, facilitated by Firing Station, that you’ll transfer your drawings on to. Seamus will share about his creative practice and teach you how to bring lots of life and expression into your artwork. You’ll then come away with gorgeous glazed ceramic plate bearing your own drawing!!
